Installation and care
Use a suitable precision screwdriver to remove the old pad and retain the matching screw. Fit the new tab into the matching arm, align its hole and tighten carefully. Do not overtighten.
Work over a clean tray, avoid forcing the part, and check that it is secure before wearing. Ask an optician to fit it if the attachment does not match. Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners.

Plan the replacement before loosening a screw
Photograph your current pad and arm from the front and side. Place a tray or folded light-colored cloth below the frame and keep the old pad nearby as a reference. Match the new mounting tab to the arm without forcing it. If the original screw is missing or damaged, obtain matching hardware separately rather than using a screw chosen only by appearance.
